- This Kit Contains Tear-Aid Type-A Tape & Patches which is truly the ultimate in patch material --TEAR-AID's unique composition stretches and recovers absorbing the force that causes ordinary repair products to tear off.
- Each TEAR-AIDŽ repair patch is made from an exceptionally tough, matte finish, abrasion resistant, elastomer that resists puncture and tearing. It is combined with an aggressive adhesive formulated for high bond strength to a variety of surfaces such as canvas, leather, rubber, nylon, most plastics, paints, aluminum, stainless steel, fiberglass, polyurethane, polyethylene, and polypropylene. TEAR-AIDŽ Type A provides a simple and easy method of patching holes and tears, as well as an excellent protective film solution. (Type-A will work on both Canopy and Bladder..)
- Dacron Tape is included to offer a rugged patch for rough/abrasive prone surfaces such as leading edge areas, etc.. and also allows for a patch than can be removed more cleanly/easily for later professional repair if needed (Tear-Aid is extremely difficult to remove once applied/bonded)
- Duct Tape Strips are included in handy sealed packets with a peel away backing --old faithful here with endless uses, etc..
- Amazing Goop Marine Adhesive offers a universal quick drying flexible bond that's great for bladder valve repairs, seams, wetsuits, and/or wherever a strong/pliable bond is needed.. --This stuff is just great..
- Mono-Filament Line is included as an edge reinforcement for taped edge repairs (procedure outlined in included Tear-Aid detail/instructions doc).. and also offers some strong cordage where needed..
- Stainless Steel Folding Scissors are included for cutting tape/patches to needed sizes as well as offer a general super-portable cutting device..
